Speaking of the marathon, what the heck happened to Strle’s annual marathon party this year? Was it cancelled or was I just not invited this year?

Mayor Bloomberg was totally impressed by our early morning spirit and excellent marathon decor, and also with my outfit. I know because we were cheering as he passed in his convertible he was visibly wowed by our signage, and he POINTED at me and smiled and waved!
I guess i was pretty easy to spot because I was screaming at him like a crazy person and wearing sequined hot pants and tinsel, but still. It’s pretty cool to wow the mayor. I bet he has been to a lot of sweeet parties.
