Catan for iPhone is terrible. Just terrible. Everything about this game is a disappointment. The gameplay is slow, the animations are horribly cheesy, and the interface is really counter-intuitive. Catan for iPhone should have been awesome. This version is pretty much unplayable. Hopefully there will be an alternative someday. In my favorite review from the app store, Megabyte_son puts it like this::If u want to get angry and risk damaging your phone from a fit of rage then buy it. Otherwise save your peace and $5. He’s not the only reviewer that mentions throwing your phone in frustration. Even if you LOVE catan, this game is not worth your $5. It will only make you angry.

Halloween Update

Oof. Of COURSE I need more tinsel garland. I have purchased an embarrassing amount of Martha Stewart Christmas tinsel from K Mart on 34th street for the making of my costume, yet still i need more, especially midnight blue and light gold. It is all i can take not to get on the subway to go buy some, but i have other plans. I hate taking trips to midtown on the weekend, but I might not be able to help myself.

I’m feeling really good about my costume so far. I want to complete it asap, so i can help Lucy make a sexy mermaid costume, which i am also really excited about.

I almost wish i had more people to outfit- I have the materials to make a pretty slamming Smoke costume, or i could get just a few more things and make a fire costume. I also have a great idea for making a Broccoli costume. Any takers?
