Plans for capture
Dude! What Neighborhood is this in?!
I TOTALLY had one of these birds land in my yard a few years ago, obviously freaked out, and I had no idea what to do.
I ran inside to get my roommate and while we were deliberating the bird flew into a yard a few houses down.
If only I had stuck my finger out!
I really hope that someday I have the opportunity to rescue/capture an missing/fugitive bird.
Maybe this one. That would be awesome.

Anti-Dust Chalk Gathering dust in the basement storage room of a school I painted at in the Bronx
According to a commenter on my flickr:
Believe it or not, this is a Crayola collector’s treasure! These and other gross-sized boxes of Binney & Smith would sell on Ebay for $25 to $35 per container!

UPDATE: I just decided I should make this a scavenger hunt.
I happened to have my camera when I found the first four leaf clover of 2008.
The first person to correctly identify said four leaf clover and tag with a note on the flickr photo page will win a super limited edition prize: THE 2008 FIRST FOUR LEAF CLOVER COMMEMORATIVE PACK!
The 2008 first four leaf clover commemorative prize pack includes the actual four leaf clover pictured above, pressed and mounted alongside a copy of this photo and a certificate of authenticity. The winner can reenact the photohunt again and again to the amazement of family and friends.Lucky You?Happy Hunting!

a really excellent commercial-but I totally wrote it off as a citibank ad because of the red umbrella.

Turns out, it’s for Traveler’s Insurance.

I suppose the umbrella is a pretty great symbol of protection and reliability and all the other stuff banks and insurance companies want to be associated with…

It’s true that this is a better red umbrella ad then any thing i’ve seen from Citi, if i was traveler’s insurance- my umbrella would not be red.
