I really enjoyed NYC launch event for The Creators Project yesterday at Milk Studios. This was the first event in a series of many worldwide, and the corresponding website is just as good, with hours of video of creators from all over the world. TCP is a collaboration between Vice and Intel. The about page on the site hints at a bigger long-term vision for the Creators Project, and that’s very exciting.
Vice throws one hell of a party, and it was extremely well curated and choreographed at every step.  I had a great time, saw some of my favorite old friends, and made some really awesome new ones. We enjoyed art, music, a panel performance involving the live creation of a pop song, delicious beverages, and finally some dancing. The crowd was extremely well dressed, and much fun was had by all. Hats off to Intel for sponsoring this project and to Vice for executing flawlessly. I can’t wait to see more.
If more marketers spent money like this- supporting talented creators and inspiring people by bringing them together for a great time- the world would be a more wonderful place.

Day Job Disclosure: I did a deal with the smart folks at Vice to seed links from thecreatorsproject.com on StumbleUpon. Our community loved it, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.
